Red Bull Teka KTM factory rider Max Nagl is on the road to recovery after two major back surgeries to correct an injury that flared up last MX1 season.

Zach Osborne is a true American hero. The Monster Energy Yamaha rider is working hard in America preparing for the 2012 FIM World MX2 Championship. One of the few American riders racing on the World scene it is little wonder that he is gaining more fans in America and around the World.

Italian journalists Stefano Taglioni and Enzo Tempestini have recently published the Motocross 2011 book, which covers the whole 2011 season, including the fifth FIM Motocross World Title of Antonio Cairoli, the maiden FIM MX2 World Title of Ken Roczen, the first FIM MX3 World Title of Julien Bill, the fourth FIM Women’s World Title of Steffi Laier, the victory of Pascal Bal in the FIM Veterans World Cup and of course the 2011 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, which took place in Saint Jean d’Angely, France.

The five-times FIM Motocross World Champion Antonio Cairoli visited the headquarters of the Italian manufacturer Ferrari last week. Mr. Stefano Domenicali, team principal of the Ferrari Formula One team, admitted to be a motocross fan and he congratulated the Italian Champion for his fifth World Title and to place the Italian colours at the top of the World one more time.

There is no doubt that the French riders will play a major part in this year’s FIM World MX1 Championship. Led by former World MX2 Champion Christophe Pourcel and with support from Steven Frossard, Sebastien Pourcel and Gautier Paulin the French legion will be tough to beat.
