FUNCHAL (PORTUGAL), 16 August 2010 – During the celebration of the eighth round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, American team-manager Roger De Coster announced the line up of Team USA for the 64th edition of the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations set for the following September 26th weekend in Denver, USA. Ryan Dungey, Andrew Short and Trey Canard are the selected riders to defend the 20th Title obtained by the American team last year in Franciacorta. Mitch Payton of Pro Circuit was also named Assistant Team Manager to help Team USA to conquer the Chamberlain Trophy in 2010.

Third placed in the FIM Women’s World Champion Maria Franke of Germany broke her L4 vertebra yesterday afternoon while racing in Belgium. After being taken to the hospital in Antwerp, Franke was told the injury will need to be operated but it will take time before the Diga Racing Team leader will be able to get back to racing.

Having sponsored the Grand Prix’s of Latvia (Kegums) and Czech Republic (Loket), the Province of Reggio Calabria was happy to be a part of the FIM Motocross World Championship and exploit the two occasions to spread awareness on their beautiful territory in Southern Italy. The Province’s Financial Delegate Dr. Francesco Surace explained the reasons why the Province got involved after having enjoyed attending the event in Loket last weekend.

LOKET (CZECH REPUBLIC), 8 August 2010 – Livia Lancelot obtained her first round victory of the season in the Czech Republic and left the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship open to be decided in the last round of the Championship in Fermo, Italy. Second was Maria Franke, who was tied in points with the French winner after achieving her maiden heat victory, and third was red plate holder Stephanie Laier with a double second place in the races.

LOKET (CZECH REPUBLIC), 7 August 2010 – With less than two months to go before the 64th edition of the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations, set to happen in Denver, USA, on the September 26 weekend, the announcement of Team France’s line-up with Christophe Pourcel (MX1), Marvin Musquin (MX2) and Xavier Boog (Open) has created momentum around the event, expecting all top Motocross riders to battle for the coveted Chamberlain Trophy.
