American racer Michael Leib is very much a rider who needed some luck. After spending two years racing the FIM World MX2 Championship in 2010 and 2011 he never really reached the mark many people expected from him. We sat down and talked to Michael Leib about his first two races.

Steven Frossard goes into the Grand Prix of Mexico with a major disadvantage over his rivals. After starting the 2012 season with a solid podium performance at the Grand Prix of Netherlands the Frenchman crashed during the qualification race in the second round in Bulgaria.

Winning an FIM World Motocross Championship is all about being consistent and trying to finish on the podium at every single Grand Prix. All the great riders from the past have always said it’s on their worst day that they actually win their titles and not on their best day.

GUADALAJARA (Mexico), 10 May 2012 – For the first time in the history, Mexico will host one Grand Prix of the FIM Motocross World Championship. The track is located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, at about 1600m on the sea level and high temperatures are assured for the whole weekend.

Last Sunday, during the Play-off football match between Standard de Liege and KRC Genk at the Sclessin stadium there was the special presence of the GP of Belgium. All the Belgian football fans could see two LS Honda Racing’s MX1 bikes sponsored by the GP of Belgium standing at the halls of the stadium.
