British rider Max Anstie continues to work hard to try and get his first ever Grand Prix victory. Having grown up in the shadows of Ken Roczen and Jeffrey Herlings it doesn’t surprise anyone that his desire to score a GP win and join his former European Championship riders as a Grand Prix winner.

The former World MX2 Champion Christophe Pourcel had a great weekend in Brazil last weekend, winning the Grand Prix and making some ground on MX1 series leader Antonio Cairoli.

FUNCHAL (Portugal), 30 May 2012 - Two times FIM Motocross World Champion John Van Den Berk, official trainer and a Youthstream talent scout for the FIM Motocross World Championship has recently travelled to Uganda, Africa, to initiate a Motocross school in Kampala. The main goal of his journeys is to help the sport grow worldwide, providing the best formation to the riders, trainers and officials in those countries where the interest in Motocross is growing.

To say it has been an exciting season would be an understatement. With Antonio Cairoli and Christophe Pourcel starting to look like they are going to get back into their battle of 2006 when the fought for the FIM World MX2 Championship.

Mel Pocock is one of the new breed riders who has made nice progress and going by his performance at the opening round of this year’s FIM World MX2 Championship, held in Valkenswaard, Holland, its little wonder he is excited to compete in the up-coming European Championship rounds.
