The 2012 Monster Energy FIM Junior Motocross World Championship was officially opened last night with the open ceremony which took place in the centre of Sevlievo. After the official speeches, all the riders were presented and they all waved their national flags in front of the enthusiastic public present at the open ceremony.

SEVLIEVO (Bulgaria), 25 August 2012 – After a very successful start in 2011, the partnership between Youthstream and SCOTT Sports to support the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship is now in its second season. Like last year also in 2012 there will be some special awards from SCOTT Sports for the riders competing in the Monster Energy FIM Junior World Championship this weekend in Sevlievo, Bulgaria.

Going 1-1 in any Grand Prix is magic, but what we witnessed last weekend at the Matterley Basin circuit in the south of England was just amazing. Italian Antonio Cairoli and British rider Tommy Searle showed what class riders they are they both went 1-1 and did it in a fashion that was just brilliant.

SEVLIEVO (Bulgaria), 24 August 2012 – The awarded track of Gorna Rositza will host the Monster Energy FIM Junior Motocross World Championship during the 26th August weekend, where the youngest motocross talents from all over the world will gather together to measure their skills and be proclaimed the 2012 Monster Energy FIM Junior World Champion. All the continents will be represented in the event with up to 165 riders entered coming from 34 different countries.

With around five weeks before the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, set for Lommel, Belgium, on September 30, several teams have decided their line-ups for the event. The most recent being Team New Zealand, Australia and Great Britain.
