One of Belgium’s most exciting young racers, Joel Roelants, will be a factory Monster Energy Yamaha rider in the premier MX1-GP class of the FIM Motocross World Championship for 2013 and aligns with Steven Frossard and also Christophe Charlier in the Rinaldi-run section of the works squad.

Team CLS MX2 Monster Energy Kawasaki Pro Circuit will line up two new young riders next season; Arnaud Tonus and Alessandro Lupino have signed a two years deal with the factory Kawasaki MX2 squad.

FUNCHAL (Portugal), 20 October 2012 – During the 2012 edition of Sportel, the International Sports Convention for television and new media, which took place in Monaco from the 15th to the 18th October, Youthstream had the opportunity to meet with the key TV sport broadcasters, as well as all the main news TV distributors. Thanks to the expansion of the FIM Motocross World Championship to Asia and Middle East, the HD production and the development of the FIM Snowcross World Championship, Youthstream has been able to strengthen the partnership with the 2012 broadcasters and start new projects which will guarantee a better TV coverage of the championships promoted by Youthstream.

Kevin Strijbos will join the Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MX1 ranks for the third time in his career for the 2013 FIM Motocross World Championship alongside Clement Desalle. And overseeing the training programmes and progression of both athletes will be former Suzuki team racer and ex five-times World Champion Joel Smets.
