VALKENSWAARD (Netherlands), 5 April 2012 - Everything is ready for the FIM Motocross World Championship comeback this Easter weekend in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands. The Dutch track will not only host the first Grand Prix of sixteen of the MX1 and MX2 classes, but also the first round of the FIM MX3 World Championship and the first round of the FIM Women´s Motocross World Championship.

First time in WMX history they will start together with MX1, MX2 and MX3 riders. Four cathegories in one place, one weekend. This will continue at 19 August 2012 in Matterley Basin (Great Britain). And last time meet all four cathegories together in Teutschenthal (Germany) at 23 August 2012.

Valkenswaard is one of the most difficult track in WMX Championship. Thanks to last year results was Steffi Laier World Champ. Surely, in season 2012 she won´t leave to chance anything and she will defend the title. It won´t be easy for her and her team, because last year success was only 9 points over the second – Chiara Fontanesi. Chiara wants to be the best this year too. She lives nearby Netherlands, in Belgium, so she can train at the same conditions, as here in Valkenswaard.

WMX fights are not only between two riders. After very well winter preparation of Britt van der Wekken, she wants to make a podium so many times as it is possible. Great last year results, podium in Senkvice, it all was at her ending results – fourth place overall. In addition Britt is at home, well-known conditions, terrain, track profile... Everything is good for her riding and preparation for attack the first place.
