On Friday evening, right before the Italian Grand Prix started, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing family greeted all the national and international media in a beautiful location by the sea in Porto San Giorgio, near Fermo, Italy. The media had the opportunity to share the evening with all the members of the team, while enjoying a delicious dinner and taking part in the Pit Stop Race.
Claudio De Carli and Stefan Everts presented the MX1 and MX2 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams and they expressed their ambitious goal to repeat their 2011 results and conquer both MX1 and MX2 titles this year. Besides, Claudio De Carli gave an update on Max Nagl and explained that he is progressing positively from his back injury and he might be able to come back even stronger than before.
Regarding the last minute incorporation of Ken De Dycker in the MX1 team, De Carli expressed his satisfaction of being able to count with the Belgian rider and he explained that De Dycker will stay in the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team until the end of the season.
After the team’s presentation, the brave journalists and photographers present at the event took part in the Pit Stop race, where they had to change the rear wheel of Antonio Cairoli’s bike. Marco Gualdani from Motociclismo Fuoristrada was the fastest journalist, but Jeremy Van Horebeek beat them all changing the rear wheel in less than a minute!
