Jeffrey Herlings (Red Bull KTM) took the Russian GP by storm as he raced to his thirteenth career Victory at Semigorje. In MX1 Tony Cairoli took a double race win as he took his forty ninth Grand Prix win, but more importantly a 20 point lead at the top of the MX1 table.

MX2



It was a flawless display from Jeffrey Herlings as he took the holeshot and led every one of the twenty one laps winning by almost 40 seconds over his team mate Jeremy van Horebeek.Tommy Searle thoughr rode a hard race as he battled from seventeenth on lap one to take third at the end of the moto. Jake Nichols was fourth, Joel Roelants fifth.







Race 2 was another display of dominance by Herlings as he mirrored his performance of race one to win by another impressive margin. This time though Jeremy van Horebeek could not hold on to second and was caught in the closing stages by Searle, who had another tough ride through the field for a well deserved second place Joel Roelants was fourth and Jack Nicholls was fifth.



MX1



Tony Cairoli, needed five laps to find a way past his team mate Ken de Dycker in race one before he could think about victory, but once he was through Cairoli rode a comfortable race to win by almost six seconds, Ken Dedycker was second, Clement Desalle was third.



Moto 2 was the best race of the day, as Tony Cairoli fell on lap two whilst leading, handing the advantage to Christophe Pourcel and Clement Desalle. Pourcel went wide allowing Desalle an easy route into first, and four laps later Cairoli followed the Belgian through and the battle for the lead began.



Despite getting close, Tony Cairoli could not get past until Desalle made a mistake four laps from the end and Tony Cairoli took advantage and went on to win the race. Desalle was second, de Dycker was third.
