The Motocross Commission of the Swedish Motorcycle and Snowmobile Federation (SVEMO) announced that the Team Sweden competing in the 2010 Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations in Thunder-Valley-Denver, USA, on September 25-26th includes Tom Söderström in MX1, Fredrik Norén in MX2 and Alex Eriksson in the Open class.
British rider Jake Nicholls has had the call up of his life as he has been asked to race for Team Great Britain in the 2010 Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations, set for the Thunder Valley circuit in Denver, United States of America on September 26.
With just a few weeks before the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations many Motocross fans are looking forward to some exciting battles in the biggest Motocross race of the season. Set for the Thunder Valley circuit at Denver, Colorado, on September 25 and 26 a huge crowd is expected for the MXoN.
Former Grand Prix racer Brian Jorgensen was very much a tough guy in a tough era. Racing the likes of Stefan Everts, Mickael Pichon and Joel Smets didn’t help the Danish riders cause in becoming a World Champion. Jorgensen was also somebody who had to do it all himself, with little help from a trainer or father (his father passed away when Brian was young).
There can be no doubt that the Grand Prix Benelux is one of the most important Grand Prix’s of the season and this year’s race holds some elements that will attract a large crowd. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing MX2 rider Marvin Musquin heads to Lierop in Holland with a 72 point lead in the MX2 series points.
